Republican Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) fiercely criticized New York State Assemblymember and Democratic NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani for his recent anti-Israel statements.

Fine denounced Mamdani as “little more than a Muslim terrorist” following the progressive Democrat’s controversial remarks about the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

In response to Mamdani’s Tuesday statement commemorating the two-year anniversary of Hamas’s brutal assault, Fine posted on X:

“This is sickening.

“Mamdani is nothing more than a Muslim terrorist.

“It’s shameful he was ever granted citizenship.

“It should be revoked, and he should be deported to the Ugandan hellhole he came from.”

The October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack left Israel devastated.

Hamas terrorists raped, murdered, and kidnapped civilians in the deadliest single-day assault on Jews since the Holocaust.

On the attack’s anniversary, Zohran Mamdani accused Israel of “genocide” and criticized U.S. policy.

While briefly noting that “Hamas carried out a horrific war crime,” Mamdani quickly pivoted to condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He claimed Israel waged “a genocidal war” and that the United States has been “complicit throughout.”

“The occupation and apartheid must end,” Mamdani stated.

“Peace must be pursued through diplomacy, not war crimes, and our government must act to stop these atrocities and hold those responsible accountable.”

Israel’s Foreign Ministry sharply criticized Mamdani’s remarks.

“Two years after Hamas’s barbaric massacre against Israel and the Jewish people, Mamdani has chosen to serve as a mouthpiece for Hamas propaganda, spreading its false genocide narrative,” the ministry stated.

It added that “by repeating Hamas’s lies, he excuses terror and normalizes anti-Semitism.”

“He stands with Jews only when they are dead. Shameful,” the statement concluded.

Born in Uganda, Mamdani immigrated to New York City at age 7.

He became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2018.

The far-left lawmaker, now representing Queens in the New York State Assembly, identifies as a Democratic Socialist.

He has faced accusations of promoting radical communist policies, including “communal living” and taxpayer-funded “free” groceries.

His X profile highlights campaign promises to “freeze rent, make buses fast and free, and provide universal childcare.”

Mamdani’s radical stances, especially his vocal criticism of Israel, have sparked increasing backlash as he runs for New York City mayor with support from the far-left wing of the Democratic Party.

Fine’s comments reflect escalating tensions between progressives sympathetic to Hamas and pro-Israel lawmakers who argue Democrats are allowing anti-Israel extremism to grow within their party.
