TruthTent wants errors reported, checked, and fixed in public view. A correction is not a favor to an outlet. It is part of publishing responsibly.
How to report an error
Email admin@truthtent.com with:
- the article URL;
- the sentence, number, image, or link at issue;
- why you believe it is wrong; and
- a public document or other reliable evidence supporting the correction.
A clear request can be reviewed much faster than a general complaint about the site’s politics.
What happens next
The editor checks the published wording against the cited record and any new evidence. When the challenge concerns a public agency, campaign, company, or named person, we may seek the original document or a direct response.
We correct factual errors, misleading omissions that materially change the meaning, mislabeled analysis, broken source attribution, and images used with the wrong identity or context.
How corrections appear
A material correction is added to the article with the date, the original problem, and the corrected information. We do not silently replace a central fact and pretend the error never appeared.
Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and link repairs may be made without a correction note when they do not alter the substance.
Updates are different
A developing story can change after publication. New facts may require an update even when the original article was accurate at the time. Significant updates are labeled so readers can tell what changed.
Disagreement is not automatically an error
TruthTent publishes analysis from a conservative perspective. A reader may disagree with the conclusion. We will correct a false fact or an unsupported characterization, but we will not erase a disclosed editorial judgment simply because it is contested.
